New drivers and their numbers
I know I haven't posted in a while, I have just been so busy lately trying to make a buck here and there. I'm trying to post when I can... when I have things to say.
2015 D.A.S. Race Team:
JJ- 27
Brenda- 72
Jarred- 28
Jason- 29
Travis- 74
Heath- 21
Peanut- 76
Bob- 00
Monty- 55
Ryan- 26
Justice- 88/ 8 ball
So far the trucks have not been doing well. We haven't been able to race much this season due to all the rain and when we do get to race, the trucks break.
76 blew 2 motors so far this season.
A few trucks aren't done yet.
27 has been throwing belts
29 has a clutch problem
21 hasn't made it out yet
28 hasn't attempted to race yet.
I'm hoping they get their butts in gear and get their heads in the game. They haven't been so hot this season. But I'm hoping as soon as they fix what is wrong with the trucks, they will be back on the track ready to roll.

Test and Tune Day 1
Well today is the first test and tune day for the drivers out at Texana Raceway Park. Not all of our vehicles are ready but that's okay because we still have the rest of March to get them done.

Race Season
Well everyone, race season in upon us. This coming weekend will be the start of the race season in edna. So everyone on our race team has been working countless hours after work to get the cars race ready. We will have a few changes in D.A.S. Racing. There will be a few new drivers and a few new cars. I'm excited! Every weekend in March will be spent at the track, testing and tuning the cars. The last weekend will be the first points night. I'm looking forward to it and I hope all of you are too. As soon as the cars are done, I will take pictures and give you the updated list of D.A.S. drivers and which cars they will be racing. Stay tuned!

Redneck Ingenuity
A). Fixed
B). Torn off.
Now there wasn't very much time to work with since the race was going to start soon and the other guys had to find a way to keep the fender from rubbing on the tire and as a result, cutting it... So, me and my sister got the bright idea... DUCT TAPE! Though it may seem ridiculous... it worked like a charm!
Below shows the damage done, family working on the car to get it in racing condition, along with our cheap but successful shot at duct tape body work!
Geared up and ready for another season
I dunno about you guys, but I'm about ready for this next race season to start. It's beginning in March. But I think that's just way too far away. But I guess I'll be patient. Gotta let everyone catch up on their racing funds. Have a great day everyone!

Halloween Havoc Race
What we normally do on that night is have all of the races as normal, but the winners get a "Halloween Havoc Feature Winner" plaque. Last year, my Dad, (who happens to be an amazing driver) won the Feature race in the Hot Stock Truck Class. (his picture is shown below). The funny thing is, all of the truck class, is my family and very close friends. All of which are either brothers or like a brother.
Anyways, back to the Event.. At intermission, the majority of the race cars are brought out on the track with loads of candy. then when all clear, the kids are let out on the track to trick-or-treat. I mean really, they're kids and they were drug to a racetrack on Halloween.. it's the least we could do. (Pictured below are my parents during the trick or treating along with a few pictures taken around the track)
After the kids are done getting candy, they go back to their seats where they get all hyped up on sugar. Then the racing proceeds, ending with the feature races.
That's really all there is to it. but it's a blast when you get to be involved in all that goes on out there. hope you enjoyed the pictures!
Members of D.A.S. Racing
Now, onto the drivers..
#27 is my Dad, J.J. He has been driving race cars for probably 30 years (not too sure though). So if you ever listen to anyone about racing, come to this man. Our living room entertainment center is full of trophies this man has won. He definitely knows what he is doing. This year he will have a different truck and my oldest brother, will be driving this orange one.
#21 is Heath. He's not my brother but might as well be.. he's been around forever and is close in this family. He's been racing a while and has one hell of a motor in here.
#29 is my brother Jason. They finished this truck in a week or 2. They got on the ball, put their heads together and got it done. He has raced a few years here and there but not nearly as long as you would think watching him drive.
#76 is Peanut. His real name is Justin. He's been racing for quite a while and lemme tell you, when he gets in this truck, he hauls ass. Watching him drive, will make you clench your butt cheeks. As hard as he goes into the turns, you would think he was about to spin out but he knows what he's doing so he get though it like a champ.
#26 is Ryan. He is the newest edition to our bunch of people. He bought the truck from one guy who sucked ass when it came to driving. I dunno if it was the motor, or if he just didn't know what he was doing.. but the last time i saw Ryan in the truck was the first time he drove it and he did alot better than i was expecting.

The next few posts will be some of my family during last years race season.
